I went on a walk up to Stoodley Pike, and stopped at Hebden Bridge train station. I really liked the ‘grimy’ look of this underpass, and thought that the symmetry and perspective of this shot worked well.

I thought I’d include some of my iPhone photos on my site, as I love some of the shots and effects that you can create. This restaurant sign was taken in York and edited with the Best Camera app.

I took this photo in a park in York in January. The squirrels are pretty tame, but this one still looked a bit shocked to be caught! I used my zoom lens on this one to get as close as possible.

I took this shot of the Strid at Bolton Abbey last year, which is quite a dangerous stretch of water on the River Wharfe. I took it with a high shutter speed to try and capture the water’s force.
